Simulations

Simulation schedule and process

The Sims of the regular season take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (from around 8:00 p.m. CET) according to the simulation schedule. This is updated cyclically by the league management. 5 ingame days are simulated in each simulation. Any changes in dates will be communicated to the appropriate place in Discord.

Normally, two game days are simulated in the playoffs every day. In individual cases, however, provided all affected GMs agree, it can be simulated beyond the planned in-game date up to a jointly determined point in time. The simulation schedule is then adjusted accordingly.

Server crashes prior to a simulation

If the server / EHM crashes on the day of the simulation, the simulation is always carried out provided the last save file is not older than one hour (related to the crash). If the last save file is older than an hour, a poll will determine whether the simulation scheduled for that day will take place or not.

In the event of a crash within 6 hours prior to the simulation, the decision whether to offer a replacement date by 12:00 noon CET by the following calendar day or whether the simulation will be cancelled without replacement is up to the respective simulation manager, provided the last save file is older than one hour .

Server crashes during a simulation

Save files are always generated after each simulated in-game day to prevent server crashes. Should the game nevertheless crash between already simulated games and a new save, then ...

... during the regular season, the EHM will be reloaded and games concerned re-simulated without taking previous results into account.

... during the playoffs, if 5 or more games are affected, the EHM will be reloaded and the games concerned re-simulated without taking previous results into account.

... during the playoffs, if 4 or fewer games are affected, the EHM will be reloaded and the games concerned re-simulated until the previously achieved final result (regardless of any goals scored) is available again.
