Waiving
No player may be waived in-game without also posting it on the Discord server. In addition, waivers on a simulation day are only permitted until the automatic "waiver stop" announcement on the Discord server or after the simulation has taken place. A waived player is considered "on the waiver" up to the following simulation.

Due to the rules applied in the EHM, there is no longer waiver-free time.

Exception:
From the start of the training camp until the official start of the season, several waivers are automatically carried out during the simulation. We will not take any notice of them until further notice. This may not apply to the CPU team, which is why claims cannot be ruled out during this time.

Claiming

In principle, no player may be claimed in-game. Claims are made on the Discord server in the corresponding channel. Each franchise may only claim one player per simulation.

Notes on the CPU team

In principle, the CPU team has the option of making a claim. However, the CPU may not adhere to the existing claim ranking. If the GEHL is not fully staffed, the league management will reverse irregular claims if possible. However, such a right does not exist with a fully occupied GEHL.

If the CPU team uses the waiver option, all GMs are entitled to a claim according to the ranking. With a fully occupied GEHL, however, claims are only possible if the player is still on the waiver after the simulation.

Claim ranking

Until October 30th of a year, the ranking of the previous season is the decisive criterion, otherwise the winning percentage of the current season. The worst placed team wins the contract.
